Auto Body Speed Shop Jacksonville leads the way in technology once again with the introduction of the Apple Ipad for mobile estimating. 48 hours after the launch of the much awaited Ipad, ABSS JAX has implemented the tablet computer in its Jacksonville facility. Testing of the hardware and software took place on Sunday 4th April and the first live estimates for our customers were done on Monday morning 5 April 2010.
Initial feedback from both the estimators and clients have been very positive. Total time saved per day is 2.5 hours per estimator per day – a great boost for productivity and efficiency

Auto Body Speed Shop is proud to be the lead sponsor for the inaugural Knickers for Knockers Gold tournament held at the Jacksonville Beach Golf Club. The tournament is a charitable event used to raise funds for a local JAX Beach Charity In the Pink. Organized by Sally Bell and supported by multiple local businesses, the tournament held on 20 March 2010 proved to be a huge success for the participating community as well as the charity.

The internal car wash facility within the Auto Body Speed Shop environment in Jacksonville utilizes wet steam at 3000F for all its car wash requirements. Once again, we have implemented another cost saving and environmentally process. Our water usage has been cut by almost 60% with the wet steam usage.
ABSS JAX is a full Nitrogen run facility. The entire facility runs of Nitrogen that is 98% pure. After extensive testing, ABSS JAX found that the best solution for the body shop and paint divisions would be to run exclusively on Nitrogen.
